The Northern Alberta Interlock was initiated by the the 1660 Hockey League, North Central Minor Hockey, and the Sturgeon Pembina Hockey League. They believe that with closer co-operation, reduce travel, consistency in regulations and standardize tiering are in the best interest of all minor hockey players in Alberta, regardless of the location of their home league or geographical location in Alberta.
